The Middle East Section was awarded autonomy by the College’s Executive Council in May 1967. Initially, it comprised: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Aden and Yemen.
In 1978, the Section was restructured and is now formed of two Districts:

District 1:

Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq.

District 2:

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen

Section Project

Oral Longevity:
Translation to Arabic and dubbing of the pamphlet and DVD produced by the American Dental Association and GlaxoSmithKline, for distribution in the Arab world as a public service project
